To mark three decades of building officially licensed Shelby Cobras, Superformance produced just 30 examples of the MKIII 30th Anniversary Edition, each wearing a genuine Shelby CSX chassis number from the first run of the CSX10000 series. This is one of them.

Finished in Carbon Flash Black with Sterling silver Le Mans stripes and Monza Red pinstripes, this car has the anniversary livery in its most striking form. The blacked-out wheels with red spinners, black ceramic coated exhaust side pipes, and black out trim package carry the look through every angle, while the LED headlamps add a modern edge to the classic 427 face.

The anniversary body is unique to these 30 cars. It has a reworked front splitter, a rear diffuser, and an integrated padded helmet fairing behind the driver’s seat that carries Carroll Shelby’s name. Inside and out, commemorative 30th Anniversary badging and a serialized 1-of-30 plaque confirm its provenance. A custom carbon fiber steering wheel completes the cockpit.

Underneath, it rides on Superformance’s proven MKIII architecture: a TIG-welded, rectangular-tube ladder frame with engineered front and rear crumple zones, four-wheel independent suspension with unequal-length A-arms and adjustable coilovers, power steering, and Wilwood brakes. The 18-inch pin drive knock off wheels are a special 30^th anniversary design and wrapped in staggered Continental ExtremeContact Sport rubber.

A limited, Shelby-documented MKIII that blends the purity of the 1960s roadster with the refinement buyers expect today.
